Amazon.co.uk. A recommendation?

Amazon.co.uk

My calculator batteries are flat. They are common or garden 3V Lithium button cells, 210mAH. No problem, except the high street shops tend to a high markup, so I went online for a guide price. Amazon.co.uk shows up with

Oh. OK. Maxwell should be OK! No? Out to the checkout, quantity 5 to make it worthwhile for the shipping charges. Log in, go to place my order... and there I see

tems: £0.05
Postage & Packing: £22.50
Promotion Applied -£0.00

Oh. Did I do something wrong? 5 pence for the items... and 22.50 for the shipping. I must have done something wrong. Repeat it all, clear my basket, off to checkout. Nope. They want to charge me 22.50 for sending 5 button cells. The more expensive online shops have the cost at between one and two UK pounds. I thought they looked expensive.

Not compared to Amazon. I wonder if Amazon.com are trying this trick int the states? Anyone got an account there to try it?
