Sean McGrath finds another supposed 'time waster'. He notes, quite rightly that multi-tasking is not straight-forwards. And it costs when you're booking time to projects. The frightner for me was communications. Take a ten man^h person team, and measure the communications overhead when they need to work together. I've seen this come out at between ten and fifteen percent which seems silly at first glance. In reality it is necessary.
