Smartwater

For some time I've been marking property I believe nickable using a UV visible marker pen. Then I heard about smartwater. Call them microdots embedded in sticky stuff. Not unlike nail varnish? I imagine they'll be like barcodes, shrunk to tiny sizes, suspended in clear lacquer. Supposedly show up under UV, then scraped off and examined at the local constabulary using some device. I like the idea but was put off by the price. Then our locals came up with the idea of introducing them on special offer. I jumped at it and duly had delivered a 60x10mm tube of nail varnish. Duly dabbing it round the house I found I'd finished, and still had half the tub remaining. I'll duly open up pc cabinets and paint a little more in more obscure places.

I celebrated my birthday yesterday. Or not if you see what I mean. A nice day, I played golf at Luffenham Heath with my brother in law, then went to a Barber Shop society practice last evening. Nice course, nice weather, nice meal to follow. I only wish we had more time to practice prior to our first public appearance!
